The National Environmental Education Foundation resources

Updated: May 27

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, The National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF) is committed to helping parents and educators following "social distancing" guidelines to slow the spread of this dangerous virus. However, even if you have to stick close to home, there are still many activity guides and citizen science projects available for children of all ages to learn about environmental education.

NEEF published the following list of resources which includes selected NEEF toolkits and activity guides that require minimal outdoor time.

NEEF also ran National Environmental Education Week during the week of Monday, April 20 through Friday, April 24. NEEF published a number of activities for each day of the week which are still relevant today.

We are leading a global movement to increase equitable access to nature so that children– and natural places–can thrive. We do this by investing in leadership and communities through sharing evidence-based resources, scaling innovative solutions and driving policy change.
