As schools across the country plan the new school year amidst COVID-19, many are promoting outdoor classrooms as a viable solution. Children & Nature Network’s Executive Director Sarah Milligan-Toffler is quoted in this New York Times article written by Gina Bellafante showing historical evidence of successful outdoor classrooms during previous pandemics.
